The first of EUMETSAT’s Meteosat Third Generation satellites will become fully operational on Wednesday, 4 December 2024.

A press conference will be held at 12:15 on that day and will be preceded by a tour of EUMETSAT’s premises, including its satellite control centre, for representatives of the media.
The event will be conducted in English. Interviews in French, German, Italian, Spanish and Finnish can be arranged.
