Industry Briefing Day – Upcoming Invitation to Tender (ITT) – Sentinel-6 / Jason-CS Ground Segment – Payload Data Acquisition and Processing (PDAP)

EUMETSAT will hold a briefing on 4 May 2017 at its Headquarters starting at 9:30 am.
After introducing the Sentinel-6 / Jason-CS mission and the Overall Ground Segment (OGS) EUMETSAT will present technical, programmatic and contractual aspects of the procurement of the Payload data Acquisition and Processing (PDAP) sub-segment.
The PDAP will include X-band and communication services to acquire and repatriate payload data, as well as processors to generate products up to level 2. In addition, this procurement will include S-band Tracking, Telemetry and Command services for Sentinel-6/Jason-CS.
The briefing will finish with a session of questions and answers. In the afternoon, a demonstration on the processing framework, which will be supplied by EUMETSAT for the development of the PDAP, will be held.
There will be space available during the day for possible discussions among industry participants, as the day is also intended to create an opportunity for exchange of information amongst attendees.
